The ingredients needed to prepare Beef Garam masala:
  1. Get Marination
  2. Take 1 kilo Beef
  3. Prepare 1 nos Onion sliced
  4. Get 1 nos Tomato small sliced
  5. You need 1 tsp Ginger crushed
  6. Take 1 tsp Garlic crushed
  7. Get 2 tbsps Kashmiri chili powder
  8. Provide 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
  9. Provide 2 tsps Coriander powder
  10. Get 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  12. Get 1 tbsp Vinegar
  13. Take to taste Salt
  14. Prepare 2 tbsps Coconut oil
  15. Use Curry leaves
  16. You need 1/4 cup Coconut slices
  17. Provide 1 tbsp Ginger garlic crushed
  18. Prepare 1/2 tsp Chilli powder / flakes
  19. You need 1/4 tsp Pepper powder
  20. Use 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  21. You need 1 tsp Fennel seeds crushed
Steps to make Beef Garam masala:
  1. In a pressure cooker mix  the beef with  ingredients mentioned under marination and keep aside for 10 to 15 mins. Pressure cook until its done. Open the cooker and take one cup of the stock,keep it aside.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a pan add the curry leaves and coconut pieces and saute it till  slices become golden brown. Add in crushed ginger,crushed garlic and saute untill it changes the color. Now pour the stock,add chilli powder, pepper powder and allow it to boil utill the gravy thickens.
  3. Now lower the flame and add the cooked beef and roast it  for 10- 15 minutes until it reaches a brown color. Add in Garam masala, crushed fennel seeds and mix well. Check the salt. We can add one tsp of coconut oil and few curry leaves at this stage to get a nice flavor.Once all the masala dries up and coats the beef on all sides,  switch off the stove.
  4. Serve hot with rice or Roti's.
