The ingredients needed to cook Puri:
- Prepare 1/2 cup maida (All-purpose flour)
- You need 1/2 cup aata (wheat flour)
- Provide as per taste Salt
- You need 2 tsp refined oil
- You need 1/4 tsp ajwain

Instructions to make Puri:
- In a bowl add maida, aata, ajwain, refined oil and salt. Mix well and add water gradually to form stiff dough.
- Then, divide the dough into equal sized small balls.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Now take each ball of dough and roll it into poori shape (circle) with a rolling pin. Make sure the rolled dough is not too thin nor thick.
- Now slide the flattened dough into the hot oil. When it puffs flip it carefully and when done transfer it to a plate.
- Serve it hot with chana, chole or gravy of your choice.
