- Prepare 2 cup all purpose flour

- You need 5 tbsp refined oil/ghee
- Take 1/4 cup beetroot juice
- Get 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Use 1/2 tsp Orange food colour
- Provide 1/2 tsp green food colour

- Get 6 tbsp corn flour
- Take 6 tbsp pure ghee

Instructions to make Chirote khaja:
- Knead a soft dough with all purpose flour,salt and ghee.
- Divide the dough into 6 equal parts.
- Now colour each part with a different colour by mixing green,orange and light orange colors, beetroot juice, turmuric powder. Leave one part plain.
- Now divide these colored balls into 2-2 even smaller balls.
- Roll each ball into very thin rotis.
- Mix corn flour and ghee to make satha. Apply satha over one colored roti, sprinkle flour over it, place another same colour roti over it, repeat the process.
- Roll these different colored rotis tightly into a log placing one colour over other.
- Cut this log into 1/2 inch pieces.
- Roll these pieces lightly to make chirote.
- Fry these colorful chirote in oil on medium heat until they turn crisp.
- Let them cool, sprinkle sugar powder over them. (you can also coat them in sugar syrup).
- Store in an airtight container and relish eating for about a month.
