The ingredients needed to make Beans and Plantain Porridge:
- Take 2 Cups Kwaqil (Beans)
- Take 2 fingers plantain(diced)
- You need Vegetable(aleho/efo)
- Provide Pepper and Onions
- You need Crayfish
- Take Spices
- Get Boiled Goat meat
- Provide Palm oil
Steps to make Beans and Plantain Porridge:
- Note, it'll take hours to cook this beans on a regular heat. But with Pressure pot, 30mins softens it.
- Pick and wash beans then put in pressure pot and cook for 15mins.
- Put off heat and allow pot to cool before opening. Strain out beans water, replace with clean water and return to cook for 15mins more.
- While beans is on fire, chop vegetable, pound or blend pepper and onions. Set aside.
- In your pot on fire, put in Palm oil and allow to heat up a bit.
- Pour your cooked beans(with a little water) and boiled goat meat into hot oil, stir fry for 5mins. Add your diced plantain, pepper, Onions, crayfish and spices. Mix well and allow to cook for 3mins.
- Add in your Aleho and Scent leave to cook for 2mins, then put off heat.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
