  1. You need 1 Cup Rava
  2. Use 1 Cup Sugar
  3. Use 1.1 /2 cup Milk

Instructions to make Rava Kesari:
  1. In a pan heat 1tsp ghee and fry cashew first until it golden brown.
  2. Fry raisins in the remaining ghee until it puffs up for less than 30 seconds.
  3. In the same pan add ghee and rava and fry the rava till it's light golden brown colour and keep aside.
  4. In the same pan add milk, water, sugar, food colour, saffron and mix well.
  5. Let it come to boiling stage add roasted rava little by little and stir well. Don't make lumps while adding.
  6. Reduce the flame to low and let it cook for 10 minutes and it becomes thick.
  7. Add cardamom powder cashew and raisins.
  8. Garnished with cashew and Raisins.
  9. Serve hot immediately.
