- Get 1/2 cup semolina (sooji)
- Prepare 1/2 cup sugar
- You need 3/4 cup full cream milk
- Get 3/4 cup water
- Provide 1 pinch orange colour or few strends of kesar
- Take 1 tbsp desi ghee
- You need 1 tsp green cardamom powder
- Use few raisins & almonds

- Heat the pan with 1 tbsp of ghee.
- Add semolina in it & roast.
- Cook till it becomes crunchy & put it in a plate,keep itaside.
- In same pan,pour water,sugar milk,orange colour,green cardamom powder & boil on a low flame.
- Stir till sugar absorbed with water & milk.Add almonds & raisins.
- Slowly add the roasted semolina to the mixture & stir continuously with the help of spatula with other hand.
- Take it out on a serving plate & garnish with roasted raisins & almonds.
- Cook covered until the moisture is absorbed.
- Serve hot.
