The ingredients needed to prepare Kesari:
  1. Use 1 cup Semolina/ suji
  2. You need 1/2 cup Desi ghee
  3. Take 11/2 cup sugar according to taste
  4. Use 1 tsp Green cardamom powder
  5. Get 1/2 cup chopped Dry fruits like almonds, pistachios
  6. Provide 1/4 tsp orange food colour
  7. Use As required Water
Instructions to make Kesari:
  1. Heat a pan.put ghee when ghee was melted add semolina, roasted on low flame, till it gets brown.
  2. Take a saucepan.put sugar and water,heat it up, make the sugar syrup ready,put orange colour into it & mix well.
  3. Now add the roasted semolina in sugar syrup, add cardamom powder and stir it continuously, when it becomes thick add chopped dry fruits and put the gas off.
  4. Take a greased thali..spread the mixture & cool it down. Lastly cut into desired shape before serving & garnish with dry fruits.
