The ingredients needed to make Paneer Palak Pulao:
  1. You need 1 cup rice
  2. You need 1 1/2 cup spinach
  3. Get 100 gms paneer
  4. You need 1 onion
  5. Provide 6 cloves garlic
  6. Prepare 2 green chilies
  7. Use 2 black cardamom
  8. Get 2 bay leaves
  9. Get 1 inch cinnamon stick

  11. Use 1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
  12. Use 1 tsp Garam masala
  13. Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
  14. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds
  15. Prepare 1 inch ginger
Steps to make Paneer Palak Pulao:
  1. Soak rice. First prepare palak paste. For that add ginger, garlic, green chilies and palak in a grinder jar. Add little water and blend it to smooth paste. Keep it aside
  2. In a pan heat oil and add black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and fry it for a while.
  3. Add cumin seeds to it and let it crack.
  4. Then add sliced onions and let it cook till it become lightish brown.
  5. Once the onions become brown add spinach paste to it and all dry masala (salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, Garam masala) andcook it till it release the oil.
  6. Once oil start leaving the pan add paneer cubes to it.
  7. Mix well and cook for couple of minutes.
  8. Now add soaked rice to it (drain out the water in which we soak the rice)
  9. Add 1 1/2 cup of water to it. Cover the pan and let it cook. Till all the water evaporates and rice is fully done.
  10. Once rice is done mix it with fork or the back of spoon so that rice grain don’t break.
