The ingredients needed to make Sushi:
- Provide 2 sheets Nori paper
- Take 1/2 cup boiled sticky rice
- Prepare 1 tsp white vinegar or rice vinegar
- You need 1/4 tsp ginger paste
- You need 1/2 tsp salt
- Provide 2 tbsp sliced half boiled carrots
- Take 2 tbsp sliced tossed capsicum
- You need 1 tbsp cheese spread
- Take 1 big plastic sheet to roll the sushi
- Take 2 tbsp dark soya sauce
- Get 1 tsp black sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions to make Sushi:
- For the rice, take any small grain starchy rice & cook them till they become sticky, then cool them completely, then add white vinegar or rice vinegar (I added white vinegar), salt, ginger paste & mix well.
- Now take nori sheet, place it on a plastic sheet, now spread flavoured rice on half of the nori sheet, then in the centre spread cheese spread, place 3 slices of carrots, 6 slices of tossed capsicum and slowly roll the sushi with help of plastic sheet into a firm roll.
- Cut the edges with a sharp knife & cut sushi into clean & meat pieces, then sprinkle black sesame seeds over each piece & serve it with soya sauce.
- Note -you can also serve sushi with pickled ginger & wasabi, I however do not like wasabi, so I served it with only soya sauce.
