- Use 1 cup leftover khichdi
- Prepare 2 cups whole wheat flour
- Get 1/2 cup Besan or gram flour
- Use 1 small onion finely chopped
- Take 2-3 tbsp chopped green coriander

- Prepare 3/4 tsp salt
- Prepare 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Provide 1/2 tsp amchoor (dry mango)powder
- Get As needed ghee to fry the parathas

- Take 2 tsp pickle

- In a parat/big mixing bowl add the whole wheat flour, besan, onion, green coriander, green chili, salt, red chili powder and amchoor powder. mix well.
- Now add the leftover khichdi. Combine everything together.
- Using some warm water knead a soft dough. cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat a tawa. Take a small portion of the dough. Using some dry floor Roll it out a little. spread some melted ghee and fold it like a parcel. roll out again using dry floor.
- Cook the parathas on a hot tawa using ghee till brown spots appear and the paratha is completely cooked on both sides
- Serve hot with butter, pickle and curd.
