- Provide FOR VEG SAUSAGE ROLL:
- You need 2 tbsp oil
- Use 1 chilli, finely chopped
- Get 1 inch ginger, finely chopped

- Provide 1 carrot grated
- Get 1 cup chopped cabbage
- You need 2 tbsp sweetcorn
- Take 1/2 tsp cumin powder

- Provide 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Use 1/2 tsp salt
- You need 2 boiled potatoes mased
- Prepare 1 cup grated paneer
- Provide 1 tsp lemon juice
- Use 1 Tbsp chopped coriander you
- Use FOR CARAMELIZED ONION:
- Prepare 2 tbsp oil
- Take 2 onion, sliced
- Get 1 tsp butter
- Use 1 tsp sugar
- Provide 1/2 tsp salt
- Prepare FOR ASSEMBLING:
- Use 2 hot dog bread roll
- Provide as required eggless mayonnaise
- Get as required Tomato sauce
- Take As required Mustard sauce
- Prepare As required Grated cheese
Instructions to make Desi Hot Dog:
- In a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and saute 1 chilli, 2 clove garlic, 1 inch ginger.
- Add 1 onion and saute slightly.
- Add 1 carrot, 1 cup cabbage, 1 capsicum and 2 tbsp sweet corn.
- Saute well until the vegetables shrink slightly.
- Add ½ tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp garam masala, ¼ tsp pepper powder and ½ tsp salt. saute for a minute or until the spices turn aromatic.
- Add 2 potato, 1 cup paneer and mix well. mix until everything is well combined.
- Add 2 tbsp coriander and 1 tsp lemon juice.
- To prepare veg sausage roll, grease hands with oil and pinch a large ball sized mixture.
- Shape into a long cylinder shape.
- Grill it in a pan cooking all the sides. keep aside.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan heat 2 tbsp oil and add 2 onion.
- Mix gently making sure to coat the onions well with oil.
- Cook on low flame until the bottom of the onion is cooked well.
- Stir in between to cook uniformly.
- Now add 1 tsp butter, 1 tsp sugar and ½ tsp salt.mix well and cook on low flame until the onions are cooked completely.
- Slit the hot dog in the centre.
- Squeeze in 2 tsp of eggless mayonnaise.
- Also add 1tbsp of caramelised onion and place in a tbsp of prepared aloo paneer mixture.
- Top with few more caramelised onion.
- Now garnish with tomato sauce and mustard sauce.
- Finally, grate with cheese and enjoy desi style veg hot dog.
