The ingredients needed to cook Punjabi kadhi pakode:
- You need 100 gms fresh curd
- Use 200 gms gram flour
- Get as required Coriander leaves to garnish
- You need 4-5 green chillies
- Take 10-12 curry leaves
- Take 2 big onion (finely chopped)
- Provide 5-6 garlic cloves (chopped)
- Take 1 inch ginger (crushed)
- Take as needed Salt
- Provide 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
- You need 1 tablespoon mustard seeds
- Get 1/2 tablespoon hing
- Get 1/2 tablespoon fenugreek seeds
- Take 1/2 tablespoon fennel seeds

- Prepare 1 tablespoon mustard oil
- Use 1 tablespoon ghee
- Get 4-5 dry red chillies

Steps to make Punjabi kadhi pakode:
- Bring 150 gm gram flour in a plate add 1/2 tablespoon Coriander leaves, salt as needed, red chilli powder, 1/4 tablespoon turmeric powder, pinch of hing,1 finely chopped onion,2 green chillies (chopped) add 1/2 cup of water mix all the stuff properly. That stuff should not be liquid nor dry. This is the mixture of pakoda.
- Now bring oil for frying in a pan on the stove. When oil starts heated up then add round shape pakode in oil for fry. Fry properly all the stuff in pakode form. Keep all fried pakode on tissue paper.
- Now we will prepare for gravy. Bring curd add 1/4 tablespoon water and 2 tablespoons gram flour, 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder. Mix all the stuff properly, keep aside.
- Bring 1 tablespoon mustard oil in a pan. When oil starts heated up add all spices, onion, garlic, ginger and chillies in it. Stir until colour of onion become golden. Then add prepare curd mixture in it. Add salt, sugar and 3-4 glasses of water in it. Cook for 5-6 minutes at high flame.After that switch off the gas. Add fried pakode in it. Cover up the pan.
- Now we will prepare for tadka. Bring one tablespoon ghee in a pan on the stove. When ghee starts heated up then add little bit mustard seeds and dry red chillies in it for 10-12 seconds then switch off the gas. Add this in cooked kadhi, garnish with coriander leaves.
- Now Punjabi kadhi pakode is ready to be served. Serve with rice or indian bread.
