- You need 1 Cup Channa Daal / Kadalai Paruppu
- Provide 1 Tablespoon Rice Flour
- Get 1 Onion (Chopped)
- Prepare 4 Green Chillies (Chopped)

Instructions to make Masal Vada / Masala Vadai:
- Soak channa dal for 3 - 4 hours. Drain channa dal completely and grind with ginger, garlic, chillies and fennel coarsely.
- Mix chopped onion, coriander, salt, rice flour and curry leaves in ground mixture.
- Make equal size balls uniformly and tap it to make flat; meanwhile heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry in medium flame and drain in paper towel. Serve with Coconut / Onion Chutney and hot tea…….yummmmm!!!!!
