The ingredients needed to make Masala Bhindi:
- Get 1 kg Lady's finger
- Use 2 pcs onions (sliced)
- Provide 2 pcs tomato
- You need 2 tsp Red chilli powder
- Use 2 tsp Coriander powder
- Use 1 tbsp Zeera powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Provide 1 pc lemon
- You need to taste Salt
Steps to make Masala Bhindi:
- Chop lady's finger to small dices after washing properly.
- Add lemon juice to the chopped lady's finger ! This prevents it from sticking
- Chop tomatoes and slice out onions
- Heat oil in kadai and add sliced onions. Fry till golden brown
- Now add chopped tomatoes and the mentioned spices along with a cup of water.
- Fry till the tomatoes become soft
- Now add the lady's finger in the kadai. Remember! Do not cover with lid as it changes the colour from green to brown.
- Cook well for 15-20 minutes
- Your masala Bhindi is ready! Serve hot with parantha or roti
