- Prepare 2 cup sour curd
- Take 1/2 cup Besan/gram flour
- Take 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Prepare 3 chopped onions

Steps to make Kadhi Chawal:
- Put curd,besan, Turmeric powder,salt in a mixie & grind it twice.
- Take a karahi,pour 2 tbsp of oil with bay leaf,whole red chilli,curry leaves &cumin seeds.
- When they crackle up,add thin sliced onions & ginger garlic paste & cook them till they become light brown in colour.Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder & saute for few seconds.
- Now put the grinded curd paste in it.
- Add 2 -3 glass of water in it & cook till it becomes thick on a low flame.
- Take a bowl,add besan,salt,carom seeds,red chilli powder& chopped onions,mix well with the help of water,Make a thick batter of it.
- Add oil in a karahi & make pakoras from the batter.
- Before serving add pakoras in it & garnish with kasuri methi.
- Serve hot with rice.
