The ingredients needed to prepare Kadhi:
  1. Provide 1 cup curd / yogurt, sour
  2. Use 1/4 cup besan
  3. Get turmeric powder
  4. Take 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli
  5. You need 3 cup water
  6. Provide 2 tbsp coriander
  7. Prepare to taste Salt
  8. You need as required Green chillies
  9. Use 2 tbsp oil
  10. Provide 1 tsp mustard
  11. Take 1/2 tsp cumin
  12. Prepare 1/4 tsp methi
  13. Get Pinch hing
  14. Prepare leaves few curry
Steps to make Kadhi:
  1. In a large mixing bowl take 1 cup sour curd and ¼ cup besan. Add ½ tsp turmeric and ½ tsp chilli powder and mix. Add 3 cup water and whisk well.
  2. Pour the besan mixture into large kadai keeping flame on low. Stir for 5 mins. Add in 1 green chilli and ¾ tsp salt. Mixx well.
  3. Continue to boil for 15-20 minutes on medium flame stirring occasionally.
  4. For pakodas: mix some besan and add chopped chillies and onions to it. Add potato julienned. Deep fry them in a pan.
  5. Prepare the tempering by heating 2 tbsp oil. Add in 1 tsp mustard, ½ tsp cumin, ¼ tsp methi, pinch of hing, few curry leaves and 2 dried red chilli. Add ¼ tsp turmeric and ¼ tsp chilli powder. Allow to splutter.
  6. Now add the pakodas and pour the tempering over kadhi. Also add 2 tbsp coriander leaves and mix well.
