The ingredients needed to prepare Bhapa Rui:
  1. Take 5 pieces Rui fish
  2. Use 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  3. Provide 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  4. Take To taste Salt
  5. You need 100 grams Curd
  6. Get As needed Mustard oil
  7. Use 2-3 Green chilli
  8. Get 1/2 tsp Mustard seed paste
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Cumin powder

  1. Marinate the fish with half tsp turmeric powder and salt.. Keep aside for 5 mins
  2. Heat a pan add mustard oil then fry the marinated fish.. Keep aside
  3. Take a big bowl with air tight lid
  4. Now in that bowl add mustard paste, curd, cumin powder, Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, sugar, green chilli, mustard oil and little water.. Mix them well
  5. Now add the fried fish. Mix well.. Close the lid
  6. How heat a big pan add water, now place that container into the water.. Cover the pan
  7. Cook in a low flame for 20 mins
  8. Now off the gas.. Remove the container from pan, And carefully open the lid of the container..
  9. Rui Bhapa is ready.. Serve hot
