The ingredients needed to prepare Lauki Kofta Curry:
  1. Use 1 medium sized bottle gourd / lauki, grated
  2. Get 1.5 cup tomato+Onion paste
  3. Prepare 1.5 tbsp garlic+ ginger paste
  4. Prepare 4-5 tbsp gram flour
  5. You need 1-2 green chili,chopped
  6. Prepare 1 bayleaf
  7. Prepare 1 black cardamom
  8. Take 1 tsp Red chili powder
  9. Take 1 tsp garam masala
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp carom seeds
  11. You need 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  12. You need 1 tsp coriender powder
  13. Take 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  14. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  15. Use 2-3 tbsp curd
  16. You need to taste Salt
  17. Prepare Oil for deep frying
  18. Take 1-2 tbsp oil
  19. Prepare 3 cup water
Steps to make Lauki Kofta Curry:
  1. Firstly, wash, peel & grate bottle gourd. Add salt mix well, leave it for 5-10min. And squeeze with your hand remove water from bottle gourd. (Don't throw take water in a bowl)
  2. Now take grated bottle gourd in a bowl add green chilli, ginger garlic paste carom seeds, gram flour, cumin, coriander powder coriander leaves mix well (add little water if required.)
  3. Now heat oil in a pan / kadai and deep fry kofta's on medium flame.
  4. For Curry:- Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, bayleaf, black cardamom, ginger garlic paste saute for a minute add onion tomato paste saute for few minutes. Add all spices mix well. Add curd stir well Cook for 3-4 mins.
  5. Now add squeeze water mix well. Add 2 more cup water coverd with the lid and cook for 10-13 minutes.
  6. Now add kofta to the prepared curry stir well Cook for 3-4 mins flame off.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves & fresh cream Serve with chapati.
