- You need 1 cup Besan

- You need 1 and 1/2 cup Yoghurt
- Provide 2 cups Water
- You need 3 tbsp Besan
- Get 1 pinch Turmeric Powder

- Take 1 tbsp White Oil
- Take 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Use 2 Cloves
- Get 1 small stick of Cinnamon
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander Seeds
- You need 1 pinch Methi Seeds
- Take 3 Dry Red Chillies
- You need 1 tsp Ginger Paste
- You need 1 tsp Green Chilli Paste
- You need 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Steps to make Punjabi Pakora Kadhi:
- To make the Pakoras: combine everything very well to make a thick batter.
- Heat White Oil in a Kadhai.
- Take 1 tsp of Batter to make the pakoras and fry at medium heat till golden brown at all sides.
- Drain the pakora’s excess oil in paper napkin.
- To make the Kadhi: whisk Yogurt, Besan, Water, Salt, Turmeric Powder together very well.
- Heat White Oil in a smaller pan.
- Add Cloves, Cinnamon, Dry Red Chillies and Cumin, Methi, Coriander Seeds to it and sauté it for 1 minute.
- Add the Besan Mixture to it.
- Add Red Chilli Powder, Ginger and Green Chilli Pastes in the mixture.
- Cook at low heat for 10 minutes stirring continuously and keep it aside.
- Just before serving the Kadhi add the Pakoras to it and cook them at low to medium heat for 2-3mins.
