The ingredients needed to make Turmeric Curry:
- Take 1 bowl grated raw turmeric
- Use 5 tbsp ghee
- Use 1 tsp cumin seeds
- You need 1/4 tsp asafoetida
- You need 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- Get 1 bowl spring onion chopped
- Take 1 bowl green garlic
- Provide 1 bowl boiled green peas
- Get 1 bowl normal curd
- Get 11/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Provide 2 tsp coriander cumin powder
- Provide 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Use to taste salt
- Take 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps to make Turmeric Curry:
- Wash the turmeric pieces, dry the water with cloth, peel them and then grate them in a bowl.
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and roast the turmeric on medium heat till it turns golden brown. Take out turmeric from the pan and keep aside.
- Now tamper the cumin seeds asafoetida into the remaining ghee.
- Once cumin splutter add ginger-garlic paste and saute well.
- Add spring onion green garlic and boiled peas fried turmeric and saute well.
- Add curd and cook till it starts to boil.
- Add red chilli powder coriander cumin powder garam masala powder and salt and mix well and cook till ghee starts to float at the top.
- Add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Turmeric Curry is ready. Serve it with naan, chapati and rice.
