  2. Provide 2 tbsn gram flour/besan
  3. Prepare 5 tbsn liquid curd / beaten yogurt

  1. Clean, chop and keep fenugreek leaves aside
  2. In a wok, add a tbsn of oil and allow it to heat at medium flame
  3. Add a pinch of asafoetida
  4. Add cumin seeds and a tbspn red chilli powder and let cumin seeds splutter for a while
  5. Add grated ginger, green chillies and sauté for a minute on medium heat
  6. Add in the fenugreek leaves and mix well
  7. Add a cup of water and bring it to boil
  8. Cook covered till fenugreek leaves soften on Low heat
  9. Meanwhile add curd in a bowl and beat it slightly
  10. Add gram flour to it and mix well with some water till no lumps are seen
  11. Our fenugreek leaves should be done by this time. Pour in the curd mix to it and increase the heat and mix well
  12. Bring it boil and add a tbsn red chilli powder and mix
  13. Keep stirring constantly as you pour a cup of water and bring it to boil
  14. Add salt to taste and check for the thickness(depends on the consistency you prefer)
  15. Once done take off heat and pour the kadhi in a bowl
  16. For the tadka, heat a tbsp oil in a tadka pan
  17. Add a tsn of cumin seeds and allow to splutter
  18. Add chopped curry leaves and dry red chillies
