- Get 700 gms Hilsa fish -
- Provide 4 tbsp Mustard oil -
- Take 1/4 tsp Kalongi -
- Take 8-10 Green chillies -
- You need 3 tbsp Yellow mustard seeds -
- You need 1 tbsp Red mustard seeds -
- You need 1 cup Coconut milk -

- Marinate the fish pieces with salt and haldi. Keep it aside for 10 min.
- Preparing mustard paste : in mixer we make a fine paste of red mustard seeds, Yellow mustard seed, Salt and 4 - 5 green chillies
- Heat mustard oil in a Kadai till the oil changes its colour.
- Temper hot oil with kalonji and cook in medium flame till oil comes from the mixture.
- Pour mustard paste, haldi, green chillies and 1/2 cup coconut milk to the mixture and boil it in medium flame.
- Now add fish pieces slowly to the mixture and cook it on low flame for at least 10 min.
- Then add 1 tbsp of raw mustard oil over the gravy and bring it to boil.
