- You need 250 gm lauki/ bottle gourd
- You need 2 medium tomato (grated)
- You need 1 small potato
- Use 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- You need 2 green chillies
- You need 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Use 1/2 cup water
- Provide as needed Oil
- Prepare Panch phoran masala :-
- Prepare 1/2 tsp methi dana
- Prepare 1/2 tsp saunf (aniseed)
- You need 1/2 tsp kalonji (nigella seed)
- Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seed
- Prepare 1/2 tsp mustard seed
- Prepare Dry spices:-
- Take 1 tsp coriander powder
- Provide 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- Get 1/2 tsp haldi/ turmeric powder
Instructions to make Achari louki ki sabji:
- Peel and cut the lauki and potato in dices,
- Heat the oil in cooker on medium flame
- Add panch phoran masala in oil let them crackle, then add ginger garlic paste, green chillies, let them cook then add grated tomato, salt and all dry spices
- Cook this mixture till oil get separated from masala,
- Now add cut louki and potato and 1/2 cup water, mix well cover the lid and take 2 whistle on medium flame
- After cooling add garam masala cook for another 1 minute granish with coriander leaves and serve with roti or rice.
