- Firstly, in water rest chola in over night then in a cooker 5 to 6 whistle in chole and boil it. Set a side.

- Also add finely chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste. saute till it turns golden brown.add red chilli and turmeric powder.saute it 2 min. - Then add garam masala cumin and coriander powder.
- Add tomatoes and saute till they start releasing oil.and salt. saute for a minute.
- Add boil chickpea or chola - further add 1 cups of water. add more water if you like it to be more gravy.
- Mix well and check the seasonings. make sure the masala water to be slightly salty as chole will absorb while cooking.squeeze lemon and mix well. garnish with coriander leaves.
