  1. Get For lunak/khulfa–
  2. You need 1 bunch lunak
  3. Use 3-4 chopped lady finger
  4. Prepare 1 small brinjal chopped
  5. You need 3-4 green chillies
  6. Get 6-7 chopped garlic
  7. Get 2 medium size chopped onions
  8. Provide 1 medium size chopped potat
  9. Provide 4-5 chopped tomatoes
  10. Provide 1/2 cup chana dal soaked
  11. You need 2 tsp red chilli powder
  12. Use 2 tsp coriander powder
  13. Use 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  14. Provide As per taste Salt
  15. Get 3 tsp oil
  16. Provide 5 cups water
  17. Take Pinch hing
  18. Prepare For pyaaz wale chawal
  19. You need 1 bowl rice soaked
  20. Provide 2 medium sized chopped onions
  21. Take 2 bay leaves
  22. Take 2 tsp red chilli powder
  23. Use As per taste Salt
  24. Provide As required oil
  25. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds
  26. Get 2 & 1/2 bowls water
Instructions to make Lunak/khulfa ki sabzi and pyaaz wale chawal:
  1. Wash khulfa with running water. Now in a cooker add oil and then add all chopped vegetables axcept tomatoes and saute till it gets light pink. Now add red chilli powder turmeric powder coriander powder and tomatoes and mix it. Now add soaked chana daal and cook it till all vegetables gets mixed. Now add lunak and salt. Mix it well for 5 minutes and add water. Cover it with pressure cooker lid and give 6 to 7 whistles.
  2. After whistle gets cool smas all the vegetables.. If not cooked or getting smashed than give 2 more whistle and later smash lunak, as the lunak is ready. Heat 1 tsp of oil. Add hing and chopped garlic. Cook till garlic gets brownish colour and than add Garlic in lunak and let it be in gas for 5 minutes.
  3. In a cooker add oil then add bay leaf later add onion saute it little than add cummin seeds and cook onion till it gets brownish colour. If onion is pink colour of rice will not come so cook onion till it gets brown.
  4. As onion gets brown than remove cooker from gas. Slow the flame add red chilli powder and mix the onion properly. Then add rice which was soaked and washed and mix it gently keep it on gas and let it cook for 2 minutes on slow heat flame keep on mixing rice. Now add water and salt mix it cover it with lid and give 2 whistles.
  5. As whistled gets cool remove lid than mix the rice otherwise it will get hard or sticky.
