The ingredients needed to make Methi Daal Vada:
  1. Use For stuffing–
  2. You need 1 bowl methi leaves
  3. Provide 1/2 bowl green coriander leaves
  4. You need 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  5. You need 5 tsp gram flour (Besan)
  6. Prepare 1 tsp red chilli powder
  7. Use 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. You need 1 tsp garam masala
  9. Get 1 tsp cumin seeds
  10. Take 2 tsp oil
  11. Take as per taste Salt

  13. Use 1 bowl Chana Daal soaked overnight
  14. Provide 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  15. Use 1 tsp red chilli powder

  17. You need 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  18. You need 200 grams oil for deep fry
  19. Get 2 tsp Sev for decorating
Instructions to make Methi Daal Vada:
  1. Wash Methi leaves, coriander and cut finely, wash Chana dal.
  2. Roast Besan in 1 tsp oil.
  3. Now heat 2 tsp oil add cumin seeds when splutters add Methi, coriander leaves, add red Chilli powder, turmeric powder,garam masala saute for 2 minutes add salt, cook for next 2 minutes
  4. Now add roasted besan mix well, cook till the mixture leaves the pan.
  5. Add sesame seeds, mix well and take it down.
  6. Now take washed chana dal in a mixer and make thick paste don't add water, now add ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt in the daal paste
  7. Mix well, now make small balls of stuffing, stuff the ball in daal mixture to make vadas, as shown in the pic
  8. Get all the vadas stuffed.
  9. Heat oil on medium flame drop vadas in hot oil, fry for 2 minutes, now slow the flame and fry the vadas till becomes golden brown.
  10. Take out vadas.
  11. Serve hot with decorating by chutney,sauce,sev.
