- Get 1 cup moong dal
- Get 4 green chilli, 3 Green onion, finely chopped
- Prepare 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
- You need 1 tsp cumin

- You need 1 tsp crushed red chilli
- Provide oil for deep frying

- Firstly, in a large bowl soak 1 cup moong dal for 4 hours. - - drain off the water and put in bowl
- Now add 2 green chilli, red chilli powder, crushed red chilli,salt,cumin and mix well.
- Now blend to smooth paste in chopper.
- Now add chopped green onions & chopped coriander & mix well
- Now dip your hand in water, and start dropping them one by one to hot oil. - - keep the flame in lower to medium stir occasionally also fry the vada till they turn golden brown. - - drain off the vada on to kitchen towel to absorb oil.
- Finally, serve moong dal vada with tomato sauce
