- Use 500 gms cleaned chicken pieces
- Provide 3 grated onion and 2 onion paste
- Get 2 tbsp Ginger paste
- Prepare 1 whole garlic paste
- Get 2 tomatoes paste
- Take 1 tbsp green chilli paste
- You need 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Provide 1 tbsp jeera powder
- You need 1 tsp dhaniya powder
- Use 1 tbsp garam masala powder

- You need 2 tbsp haldi powder
- Take 1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
- Take to taste Salt and sugar according

Steps to make Chicken kosha:
- Firstly clean chicken neatly and marinate with 1 tbsp haldi powder lemon juice salt and keep it for 2 hrs.
- Now heat kadai and add oil and as smoke comes out add bay leaves and jeera seed black pepper and stir then add marinated chicken and fry until colour changes.
- In a bowl add all powder masala and add little water and make paste. Keep aside and boil 3 cups of water or as required. Don't mix garam masala powder.
- Now take out the chicken in a bowl and again add little oil then pour grated onion and fry until it becomes golden brown then add onion paste with ginger garlic paste. Fry well then add green chilli paste and tomato paste. Stir well and wait until oil gets separated from the masala.
- Now add salt and sugar as per taste and Mix it well after few minutes add the powder masala paste and cook well until oil gets separated and colour changes into reddish-brown colour then add fried chicken and fried potatoes. Now add garam masala powder.
- Cook it well by covering with lid and inbetween stir it. When chicken stop discharging any water now add hot water and cover with lid.
- Cook for 15 mins or until chicken and potatoes become soft. Make thick gravy. Then serve it with rice, pulao, naan, chapati.
