The ingredients needed to make Pomegranate Halwa:
  1. You need Pomegranate juice - fresh 1 and 1/2 cup
  2. Get 3 1/2 tbs Castor sugar
  3. Take 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  4. Use 3 tbs Strawberry puree
  5. Use 3 tbs Ghee
  6. Take 2 tsp Agar Agar powder
  7. Get 2 tbs + 1 tbs Crushed cashew nuts
  8. Get Rose petals and few pomegrante seeds for garnishing
Steps to make Pomegranate Halwa:
  1. In a non stick karai, pour the juice and straw berry puree and stir it continuously till it is reduced to half.
  2. Add one by one castor sugar, ghee, cardamom powder and mix it.
  3. After 2 minutes add Agar Agar powder (already mixed with 2 tbs water) and 2 tbs crushed cashew nuts and mix it thoroughly.
  4. Sprinkle crushed cashew nuts in a greased pan and pour the mixture.
  5. Refrigerate it for 1 hour. Now take out the mixture and demould it on a plate. Decorate and garnish with crushed cashew nuts, rose petals and anar Dana. Serve it cold or hot.
