- Use 1 cup green gram/ moong sprout (here you can use combination of moong, matki, vatana, chana sprouts
- Get 0.5 cup dry green peas/ sukha vatana

- You need 1 small tomato finely chopped
- Prepare 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Prepare 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- Use 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Use 1 tablespoon oil
- You need 5-7 curry leaves
- Get 1 cup water
- Provide to taste Salt
- Prepare 1 cup poha/flattened rice soaked and drained(can use leftover cooked poha too)
- Get Dry masala for rasa:
- Use 4 tablespoon goda masala/garam masala/curry powder
- Use wet masala for rasa:
- Provide 1 small onion chopped roughly for grinding to paste
- Take 1 small onion finely chopped
- Prepare 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- Get 1/2 cup coriander chopped
- You need 2 green chilies (or as per spice level required)
- Prepare 4 tablespoon oil
- Take 1.5 litre water
- You need 4 teaspoon sugar
- Take 1 lemon juice

- Get 2 potatoes boiled and cubed
- Prepare 1/4 cup coriander finely chopped
- Take 1 cup Date syrup
- You need 1 cup farsan /mixture to sprinkle on top

Steps to make Puneri Misal Paav:
- Making usal: Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion and saute till translucent.
- Add ginger garlic paste to it. and saute more.
- Add chopped tomatoes and salt and cook till they are soft.
- Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala to it and saute for two minutes.
- Add the mixed sprouts and add water to it.
- Add the rest of salt and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles.
- The usal is ready
- Wet masala for rasa:
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and fry till translucent.
- Add the goda masala and sauté for 4-5 minutes
- Grind together onion, ginger garlic, green chilies and coriander to a fine paste.
- Mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Add red chilli powder, salt and sugar. Mix well.
- Add water and let it boil and cook for 12-15 minutes
- Add lemon juice to it after the water starts boiling.
- Once the oil separates, our rasa is ready
- Assembling Misal: (per serving)in a deep bowl add two tablespoon of prepared usal.
- Add two tablespoon of poha and some diced potatoes.
- Pour 4-5 laddle full of rasa.
- Add 2 tbsp of sweet date and tamarind chutney
- Garnish with chopped onions, coriander and farsan
- Puneri Misal is ready to be served with pav
