  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp Cardmum powder
  4. Prepare 1 tbsp Melon seeds
  5. Take 1 tbsp Sunflower seeds
  6. Take 2 tbsp Flax seeds(alsi) roasted and grounded
  7. You need 1 cup Toasted and grind lotus seeds(makhana)
  8. Get 1" Raw turmeric
  9. Use 1 cup Desi ghee
  10. Use 5-6 Pistachios fo' garnishing sliced
Instructions to make Besan laddoo with sunflower and flax seeds:
  1. Firstly sieve the gram flour (besan) with the help of Stainless Steel strainer to remove lumps and any impurities in the flour
  2. Take a large flat bottom pan or a kadhai and add a spoon of desi ghee in it.Flame on
  3. Roast melon seeds, sunflower seeds and flax seeds one by one by adding spoon of ghee everytime till crackling sound of seeds are heard.Keep the roasted seeds aside in a plate
  4. In the same kadhai again add the rest of ghee.Shredded raw turmeric and stir fry it..add gram flour(besan) and start roasting the flour continously while stirring at low to medium heat till get light golden brown in colour and aromatic fragrance of roasted gram flour start rising.Flame off and let it to slightly cool
  5. Add powder sugar, Cardamom powder, roasted seeds and combine the whole mixture wih the help of a spatula till well incorporate each and every thing with roasted gram flour add lotus seeds(makhana) powder to set the consistency of the besan mixture as it can bind in the shape of ladoos as required
  6. Start binding small-small laddos out of the mixture.Prepare all the laddoos with same binding process taking the help of your palm
  7. Your besan ladoos in our punjabi Rasoi(kitchen) are ready
  8. Garnish with some sliced pistachios and serve in a plate or store in a container
