- Prepare 1 Cup Moong dal

- Take a dry moong dal,wash it and soak for 6 hours,then strain the water and wash it again and grind it to make a smooth paste.
- Now take a pan add ghee,add suji,besan and roast it at low flame till golden colour and then add moong dal paste in it and roast it at low flame.
- In a meantime take another pan add water,heat it and then add sugar,green cardamom powder and some strands of saffron (optional) and cook it till sugar dissolves. Our sugar syrup is ready.
- Stirr the dal paste continuously to avoid sticking to the pan,after sometime it starts bubbling and changes in to golden colour and at this point add sugar syrup and stirr continuously and make the flame high and cook till all the water absorbs and it becomes thicken.Add dry fruits and mix well.Our delicious moong dal halwa is ready to serve.Enjoy hot hot halwa πππ
