- In a bowl, take maida, add salt, ajwain, ghee and mix well till the flour holds shape. Add water gradually and knead a tight dough. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.
- Now take a portion and roll thin. Cut into square shape and make thin strips of it. Take a bowl and turn it.
- Place the strips as shown and cover the bowl with strips. Cut off the extra dough from the sides. Press gently so that the strips stick to each other.
- Now roll a thin dough and cover the sides of the bowl by gently pressing the sides.
- Heat oil in a pan and place the bowl in warm oil and let it cook on low flame. Hold the bowl and fry from the sides.
- Once fried, the basket will separate from the bowl. Turn around the basket and fry from all the sides on low flame.
- Make bhel by mixing all the ingredients of bhel and fill the basket with bhel. Garnish with sev, puri and coriander.
