- Prepare 1 kg Katla fish
- Prepare 1 piece onion finely chopped

- In a bowl add turmeric, cumin, coriander, chilli and Kashmiri chilli powder with some hot water and make a thick paste.
- Wash fish pieces and marinated them with turmeric and salt. Heat pan, add mustard oil
- Fry the fish pieces.
- Then in the exes oil saute the whole spices,cumin,tejpata and dried chilli.
- Then fry the chopped onion, till it golden brown.
- Now one by one add onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, chilli paste, and fry.
- When 1/2done,add tomato pieces and char magaz paste.
- Now add salt and slite sugar.
- Now add the Spice paste and stirr well in a low flame.
- Add curd and mustard paste.
- When oil comes out from the mixture add water.
- When the water gets boiled, add fishes.
- At the end add1 teaspoon of garam masala powder.
