The ingredients needed to prepare Dahi Vada:
- Prepare 200 gram instant dahi vada powder
- You need 500 gram curd
- Prepare 1 teaspoon Jeera powder
- Get 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain
- Get 1 pinch baking soda
- Use As needed oil
- Prepare To taste Salt and sugar
- Prepare To taste black salt
- Take leaves Few coriander
- Use as needed Aloo bhujia and Imli sauce for garnishing
Steps to make Dahi Vada:
- Mix the instant powder in 2 cups of water and keep it aside for 30 mins
- Add jeera powder, salt and ajwain into the above mix and keep it for 30 mins
- Add 1 pinch baking soda to the mix. Heat oil in a pan and start frying the vadas. Put the fried vadas into a vessel of hot water
- Prepare the dahi by mixing curd, some water, salt, sugar, coriander leaves, black salt. Take out the vada from the water and press between palms to remove excess water and put it in the curd. Repeat this for all the vadas
- While serving garnish with aloo bhujia and imli sauce
