- You need 200 gms urad Dal soak for 4 hrs
- Provide 5 green chillies & small piece of ginger

- After soaking blend the urad Dal with ginger,half teaspoon salt& chillies until thick,light & fluffy.Add water only as needed so the batter does not come runny..add pinch of baking soda
- Soaking the hot fired vadas immediately in water helps they absorb water from inside keeping soft & moist
- Whisk the chilled yoghurt well with some salt & sugar..Once the vadas soften squeeze off the excess water & add them to the whisked yoghurt pour some tamarind chutney & green chutney.. sprinkle with cumin powder powder,chaat masala,red chilli powder…garnish with coriander leaves
