- Hilsa fish is marinated with salt,turmeric powder,posto paste, shorshe paste and coconut pulp paste and mustard oil for 10 minutes.
- The laupata is washed with hot water.
- One laupata is taken.one Hilsa fish along with the mixture of paste is taken and wrapped with the laupata. Same is done for the other six
