  1. You need 1 cup rice
  2. Prepare 1/2 cup jagerry
  3. Take 1/3 cup ghee
  4. Prepare 15-20 raisins
  5. You need 2 stick cinnamon
  6. Use 4 cloves
  7. Use 1 black cardamom
  8. Get 15-20 black pepper
  9. You need 4 green cardamom
  10. Use 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  11. Take 1/8 part of the nutmeg
  12. Use 3:5 cup water
Steps to make Kanika/Flavoured Sweet Rice:
  1. Take a rice properly washed and soaked.
  2. Take 3:5 cup water in the clay pot and place the clay pot in low to medium flame.
  3. Put all the dry spices in blending jar. Take a small piece of nutmeg and jeera.
  4. Cover the jar and make powder it. Add 1 tsp sugar and again grind it.
  5. Check out water add dry spice powder.
  6. Add raisins, soaked rice and don't mix it and no need to use spatula.
  7. Cover the pot and cook in medium to low flame.
  8. Remove the lid and add jaggery and ghee.
  9. Now cover the pot for 5 minutes and cook it in low flame.
  10. After 5 minutes remove the lid and check it. Switch off the flame.
  11. And cover the clay pot for 30 minutes. The remaining water in rice is cooked with heat of clay pot.
  12. After 30 minutes the kanika is ready for serving. Add tulsi leaves and serve to god as a bhog.
